The purpose of this site is to serve as a resource for International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Teacher-Librarian's around the world. The site is maintained by members of the IBSO Round Table.

Characteristics of the IBDP

 

  • Multiple assessments (examinations, oral anaysis, written papers, individual portfolios, group projects)
  • Moderation: student work is internally and externally moderated by worldwide examiners,  and other classroom teachers (as well as their own)
  • Continuously upated curriculum: each subject area is updated in a five-year (5) renewal cycle)
